Fb on Tuesday introduced it had eliminated a community of accounts, teams and pages related to the far-right extremist motion often called “boogaloo.”
Fb selected to take away the boogaloo community for violating its coverage of “Harmful People and Organizations,” which prohibits “any organizations or people that proclaim a violent mission or are engaged in violence to have a presence on Fb.” The time period boogaloo refers to U.S.-based extremists that advocate for a violent rebellion and desire a second Civil Battle.
